SAFE! provides distinct support to parents and caregivers across all of our services. This includes support delivered both 121 and in groups online.
Who we support
We can provide support to any parent or caregiver living in the Thames Valley, where they have a child who has had an experience of crime or abuse, or where the family is experiencing Child and Adolescent to Parent Violence and Abuse.
How we support
The caregivers group provides support for parents and caregivers who need space to talk, time to reflect, connection with other caregivers, and learning how to put you first by putting your own oxygen mask on first before supporting others. The group runs online on Tuesdays at 10:00am – 11:30am & 19:00pm- 20:30pm.
Through one-to-one support, a parent support practitioner can help you with:
- Discussing your wellbeing needs
- Creating time for you
- Coping with challenges
- Responding to your child’s changing needs
- Information, advice & guidance
